Poppa spent a day on Lake Geneva yesterday just to get some time to himself. Taking care of 4 little ones plus a wife like me...well...that will wear down the mightiest of men. So we sent Poppa off with our blessing to get some time on the water...and with the Lord. It is his favorite way to interact with our Heavenly Father...
It is rainy and dreary today. Many streets are flooded and the air is wormy. So tonight Jeff and Mac weather-proofed themselves, grabbed the flashlights, and went "wormin." Yes...that's right...they went hunting for big 'ole earthworms. No need to hit the bait shop for a while..we've got plenty to tide us over for a bit! Good thing Mac does not mind getting her hands dirty!

Were you affected by Ike? I used to do worming with my dad.
We did have some heavy rain the weekend of IKE...and quite a bit of flooding! I guess the outer bands affected the weather up here. What a riot that you went "wormin'" with your dad...were those good memories? Our kids love it...not sure what that says about us...but...hey..it is a cheap form of amusement! Always good to hear from you, Robin!
